Weber-christian disease is a rare skin disorder charicterized by the appearance of recurrent crops of tender subcutaneous nodules usually located on thigh and lower extremities and associated with systemic symptom such as fever, abdominal pain,
arthralgia, hepatosplenomegaly.
It occurs most commonly in middle-aged women and rarely affects children, especially infancy.
We experienced a case of Weber-Christian disease in a 16 month-old female who had developed recurrent fever and subcutaneous nodule since infancy. She was treated by oral prednisone and good prognosis is noted.
We report this case with a brief review of the related literatures.
